RESOUND is a three-member a cappella group from Richmond, Virginia. Well before declaring themselves a group, longtime friends Jessica Fox, Joseph Clarke, and Mariah Hargrove thought it would be fun to post a video of themselves singing an a cappella medley of gospel songs. Immediately going viral, new fans and friends called for more and encouraged the trio to continue their impromptu collaboration. Following this viral success RESOUND was born in 2012. Since then, RESOUND has amassed millions of views on YouTube and Facebook and has garnered praise from some of the biggest names in pop and gospel music including India Arie, Tye Tribbett, Donnie McClurkin, Arianna Grande, and Jessie J. Their vocals stylings and intricate arrangements also caught the attention of the broader entertainment industry, leading to television appearances on Good Morning America and Late Night with David Letterman. Though RESOUND was never their plan, they believe that everything happens for a reason and are willing to go wherever God takes them.
Founded in 2014 by Vocal Professor Erin Hackel, Lark, an all-female identified a cappella group, has performed and competed across the country, gaining attention from the a cappella world in the last three years. In 2015, they won both the Boston Sings A cappella Festival and the SoJam a cappella festival. With a recently released music video for “Mad Hatter,” Lark continues to strive for excellence in musicality, arrangement, and performance. Lark continues to push the boundaries of collegiate all-female a cappella.
