What is a masterclass and how do I sign up?

A ‘masterclass’ is a session in which your group works privately with an instructor or instructors: a chance to receive real-time, really constructive criticism from a cappella’s best and brightest! Masterclasses will be available all weekend during class times (Saturday 9:00-5:00). If you’d like to sign your group up for a masterclass, you can do so as part of group registration. Please contact us if you have additional questions.

How do I register for a workshop that requires advance registration?

Certain limited-enrollment workshops and all masterclasses require advance registration, which will openone month prior to the event. Watch this space for a link to the registration form. We will also post details on how to register in the News section on the home page.

Lunch is listed on the Saturday schedule. Is it included in my pass?

Lunch is not included in the pass, although the Saturday schedule includes enough time for lunch.

What does an All-Access Pass include?

An All-Access Pass includes admission to workshops, the Scholastic Competition, the Professional Showcase and all afterparties/networking events.

Can I apply the CASA Membership discount to my whole group?

No, only individual tickets or passes are available to purchase using the CASA Membership discount. If you have some members of your group who are paid CASA members and would like to receive the discount, they can purchase their tickets individually on the CASA website. Make sure they indicate that they are part of your group, and we will have all of your group’s materials together for pick up at registration. Be sure to complete the group registration through the Tickets page on the LAAF website, and simply omit the group members who will be registering individually.

How do I redeem a discount or free passes I received through a previous Sponsorship?

If you should receive passes to LAAF 2017 as part of a previous year’s sponsorship package, we will hold these passes for you at registration / will call. Contact meron@casa.org to confirm.

How do I compete in the collegiate competition?

The submission instructions have been posted. You will need to submit a video and purchase All Access Passes for your group by the deadline to be eligible to compete.

What is the competition submission deadline?

The submission deadline for LAAF 2017 is 11:59pm PST November 18, 2016.

We already registered, but need to submit the link to our competition video. Where can we do that?

If you have already registered and indicated in your group registration that you are applying to compete, but at the time of registration you did not have your video ready to upload, you can email the link to us.

What if my group was chosen to compete? What is the schedule for competition day?

The schedule for competition day has not yet been finalized. Groups selected to compete will be contacted directly with the final schedule and instructions.

I am now unable to attend. How do I get a refund?

Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your selection. Policies set forth by our clients, including venues, teams and theaters, prohibit us from issuing refunds after a ticket has been purchased. Regretfully, if you elect to make changes to your plans, tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded unless the event has been cancelled or postponed.
